Homecoming will occur during the week of October 10-15

Spirit week will be during the school days. All students and staff can follow the planned theme days.

Monday – No School

Tuesday – Decade Day (Go back in time and wear clothes from a past decade)
Wednesday – Black & White Day (Wear your Favorite Black & White attire)
Thursday – Twin Day (Pair with someone and be twins for a day)
Friday – Blue & Gold Day (Show your KD spirit)

Students and staff will gather in Kauffman Stadium on Friday afternoon (weather permitting) or the gym. We will recognize our fall sports teams, cheer on the football team, and hear the band perform.

The Homecoming football game is October 14 at 7:00 p.m.

The Homecoming Court introductions and announcement will take place during halftime of the football game.

Various school clubs, teams, and organizations will have fundraisers taking place at the football game. Some are listed below:

Drama Club: Baked Goods
Senior Class: Glow Sticks, Necklaces etc.
German National Honor Society: Water/soda/drinks
Cheer: Whoopie Pies
MiniTHON: MiniTHON merch; temporary hair color, face paint; t-shirts
Social Workers: SESD & Community Resources
Boys Lacrosse: Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Cookies

The Homecoming dance is October 15 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.  Students in grades 9-12 may attend.
