Oh my lash!

Are your lashes too clumpy? Not the right length? Not the curl you want to achieve?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, don’t worry because we’re going to talk about some of the options you can consider that targets the lash look you want.

First off, I say we start with the easiest way to achieve longer, more pigmented lashes–mascara.

Mascara comes in many different colors, brush types, and brands. It can be purchased over the counter at many drugstores, and it takes less than five minutes to apply.

If you want a certain lash look and choose mascara as your way to achieve it, I recommend also purchasing an eyelash curler, a lash comb, and spoolies.

Spoolies, for those of you who don’t know, are basically the mascara wands without the makeup.

Some mascara brands I recommend are Sky High by Maybelline, Telescopic by L’Oreal, and Lash Paradise by L’Oreal.

Now, let’s get into a slightly more expensive and time consuming way to get your desired lash look.

If you want a more neat and flattering lash look, I would go with fake lashes.

These can be purchased online from personal businesses and makeup companies and some drug stores. They may take up to ten minutes to apply.

Other supplies I recommend you purchase would be lash glue, a pair of tweezers, and spoolies as well. Use the spoolies to maintain the neatness of the lashes.

My go-to false lash sets are Kiss, Ardell Natural Lash, and Velour Lashes.

Finally, we’re going to discuss the most expensive and possibly dangerous way to achieve your desired lash look.

Lash extensions can be done at home, but many people recommend getting them done professionally. If you want to take this path, book an appointment at a nearby nail or hair salon.

They can cost up to $500, and take hours to complete.

Lash extensions can be seen as dangerous because if they are not properly maintained, it can lead to eye infections and they won’t stay attached long.

Freshman Chase Hayes said, “I say Mascara because it isn’t as damaging as other things and it looks natural.”

If you do decide to do them yourself at home, be careful when applying them as they have to go under the lash line, and glue is being used. A tutorial and assistance is highly suggested.

When deciding what path you want to take to get your preferred lash style, hopefully this article  will help you.
