2021 Essay Contest Flyer

In celebration of Law Day 2021, the York County Bar Foundation is sponsoring its 43rd Annual Essay Contest for 9th through 12th grade students in York County’s High Schools or who are being home schooled.

Volunteer members of the York County Bar Foundation will judge the essays based on the student’s logic, originality, thoughtfulness and writing style. Students who participate are not expected to research the law or to have specific knowledge of the law that applies to the various essay topics. Some teachers have used the topics in this contest to promote class discussions or class projects. Others have simply made students aware of the opportunity to participate.

Note that the prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place again this year are Amazon Gift Cards! Winning students, their sponsoring teachers, and their parents will be invited to attend our Law Day program on Monday, May 3, 2021.
